Red Japanese

A red/purple skin, and ivory flesh, the Red Japanese is bred for the Asian Market. High dry matter but sweet. Resists fusarium wilt, susceptible to soil rot, root knot, nematode, susceptible to russet crack. Matures 110 days. (Vine type)
We believe at George’s Plant Farm that all varieties will grow in most all states with exception of Northern States who must use black plastic, cover bedded rows 2-3 weeks before plants arrive.
