Our Testimonials

George,
Thanks for the good plants you provided to us about a year ago. American sweet potatoes are one of the food items that we miss the most from home as we live and work in Africa. We now enjoy eating lots of sweet potatoes that started with the ones we bought from you. Our children love them, and the other American families that work with us enjoy them too. I’ve attached a picture from our place.
Thanks,

Nathan Jackson

Just needed to say thanks for the sweet potato plants you sent me in April, they were part of a community garden start up and nobody can pass by my plots without asking what is this. I have a lot of people (from other countries) ask me for cuttings to cook with but despite the nibbling of my vines the mounds of green ( when other plots are dying from the heat) draws them in like flies. Hoping to get some pictures in a few weeks when we harvest.

Thanks you again for a great product

Arland has been digging sweet potatoes for a couple weeks…we always have lots of sizes but this year, and today for sure they are crazy big!

George,
They say that you can’t grow big sweet potatoes in the north.  Show them these pictures.  I have to send another email with more.

Just wanted to say thank you! I had a fantastic 2011 crop of Centennials, Georgia Jets, Beauregards, and Vardemans. My soil is heavy clay soil and yet the taters thrived. They are so full of flavor that one doesn’t even need butter or anything else. I literally eat them plain most of the time. Thanks for offering the great descriptions and ‘tater school’. The planting instructions are excellent especially for those of us with compacted clay soil! Look forward to doing business with you in 2012.

Regards,

Mary Deem

George,
We are always so busy this time of year, but we wanted to take time to thank you for your great sweet potato plants. The Purple Passion and Nancy Halls did great this year, despite our cool summer in northern Ohio. We have ordered from you in the past, but wanted you to know we appreciate your prompt shipping and good plants. By the way, do you have any recipes for us ” Northeners” for the Nancy Halls?

The Illdertons

George & Donna,

Just a note to tell you how much we appreciate your delivering what you promise.  This is our third year of ordering your Beauregard plants.  Your plants are larger and healthier than those we have ordered from others.  Our Community Garden plants in plastic covered raised beds with drip tape for irrigation.  Our 1000 plants yielded 3400 pounds of potatoes for a local Food Pantry.  We experienced some loss of plants last year, needing to hold plants over 3 weeks until we could get on the garden to prepare the soil.  (We had a very unusual spring in 2015)  You made the loss good even though you were NOT at fault for the loss.
When George’s Plant Farm says “All orders are 100% GUARANTEED!”, you mean it.

George and Donna, Thanks!
The plants came in the mail today and I got them all in just in time for some wonderful and much needed rains! Thanks for the prompt service! The vines are beautiful! Wish I’d have found you last April before I had ordered from someone else!

Thanks again!

This was my first year buying sweet potato slips from you and I was super impressed! I got some giants, like the size of cantaloupes! I only planted two 10′ rows, but got 50 lbs! Great Harvest! I read part of your story and prayed for your family tonight. God bless you!
