Carolina Ruby

Developed by Dr. Wanda Collins at N.C.S.U., the Carolina Ruby has red skin similar to the old rose Centennial with a dark orange meat. The plant resists fusarium wilt, soil rot, but susceptible to root knot Nematode. Great for production in northern climates.  We believe at George’s Plant Farm that all varieties will grow in most all states with exception of Northern States who must use black plastic, cover bedded rows 2-3 weeks before plants arrive.  Matures in 90-100 days.  (Vine Type)  Heavy Yields
