Vermilion
Developed at LSU, the Beautiful Vermilion has a deep red/purple skin with a deep orange flesh. Resistant to Fusarium wilt, Rhizopus soft rot, and Fusarium Root Rot, with intermediate resistance to Soil Rot, and Root Knot Nematode. 100-110 day maturity (moderate yield).
Developed at LSU. Orange flesh, rose skinned cultivar. Similar to the Beauregard. Disease resistance about the same. With good shapes, and high yields, it will out perform the Beauregard for “Baker-size” potatoes. Vine-type, about 100 days to maturity.
