Murasaki
A popular sweet potato of Japanese origin, dark purple skin, and white flesh that turns a champagne color when cooked. It has a sweet-nutty flavor with a drier, creamier texture than their orange-fleshed counterparts. Matures in 130+ days. Not a heavy producer (Vine type.)
We believe at George’s Plant Farm that all varieties will grow in most all states with exception of Northern States who must use black plastic, cover bedded rows 2-3 weeks before plants arrive
